Browse All TopicsHi I am using the following code to add the table names of an Access database to a ComboBox
but for some reason the ComboBox remains empty
Private Sub Form_Load()
Dim lTbl As Long
Dim lFld As Long
Dim dBase As Database
Set dBase = CurrentDb
Dim itm As String
On Error Resume Next
'Loop through all tables
For lTbl = 0 To dBase.TableDefs.Count
'If the table name is a temporary or system table then ignore it
If Left(dBase.TableDefs(lTbl)
Left(dBase.TableDefs(lTbl)
'~ indicates a temporary table
'MSYS indicates a system level table
Else
'Add item to Find Table Combo
itm = dBase.TableDefs(lTbl).Name
Me.cmbFindTable.AddItem (itm)
End If
Next lTbl
End Sub
