Access VBA Add Items to ComboBox

Hi I am using the following code to add the table names of an Access database to a ComboBox
but for some reason the ComboBox remains empty
Private Sub Form_Load()
 
    Dim lTbl As Long
    Dim lFld As Long
    Dim dBase As Database
    Set dBase = CurrentDb
    Dim itm As String
 
   
    On Error Resume Next

    For lTbl = 0 To dBase.TableDefs.Count

        If Left(dBase.TableDefs(lTbl).Name, 1) = "~" Or _

You need to ensure the Row Source Type property is set to Value List.

AddItem was not available in 2000.
I think it was new in A2003 (maybe A2002)
You would need to use sometghing like:

me.comboname.rowsource = me.comboname.rowsource & ";" & itm
