Subforms on Pages in Datasheet View Not Displaying Properly

I've got tabs ("pages") that have data and/or subforms on them.  All of them work great.  Except when I want a subform to show up in datasheet view.  I need them to show up that way.  But when you click a tab (page) with a subform in datasheet view, the parent form...its header, footer, and all the tab (page) controls disappear because its child form shows up in datasheet view.
