I am relatively new to Access 2003. I have created a continuous form that uses text boxes and combo boxes to filter data based on Model Type, Customer Name and Date. I have a command button that filters the data and one that clears all information from the text boxes. I have also set up several boxes in the form footer for totals of the records and averages.
What I would like to be able to do is compare data between two separate date ranges. For example, I would like to be able to calculate the average cost in time period 1 and compare it to the average cost in time period 2. For this I am not concerned with individual records like above. However, I would like to maintain similar filter criteria. Unfortunately, I am not very experienced with Access and am not quite sure where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
