I null the value so that you won't have an old selection that is incompatible with the new list selections.

I am currently working on a form in access.
I would like to have a combo box has row source based on the value of a check box on the same box.
for example,
if the check box is checked,
the row source of the combo box will be
"1", "2", "3", "4"
if the check box is not checked,
the row source of the combo box will be
"Yes", "No".
Is there anyway i can edit the combo box?

It seems like you have two sets of data in this combobox.
Usually the Rowsource of a combobox will not change from Text to Numbers like this.
Another Option would be to have two comboboxes.
Enable ComboBox1 (and disable Combobox2) when the checkbox is Checked
Conversely, Enable Combobox2 (and Disable Combobox1) when the CheckBox is Unchecked.
Can I ask what this is being used for?
For example, what is the name of this one combobx? "Select a...?"
