Whats the best way to build a report so a user can click on specific items for it to pass to another routine ?

Asked by TBLTMK in Access Reports, Access Forms, Access Coding/Macros

I am programming in Access 95, yes i know its an old version but its only what i've got availible. Just a bit more back ground.  I've progammed the database as if it was a VB program accessing a 3rd party database because thats how i was taught to program.   I am programming a simple call logging database and its now fully functional in creating and updates a records.  But what i want to be able to do is give a user a report so he/she can click on items within the report and the report pass the primary key to another sub routine which then load the details in a editing form.  I am ok with the code ect of the final destination form but its creating a report that can pass details to another form. I have created some reports in access but i cant see how to i can control the events within them to pass the primary key?  Maybe i need to use a MS or 3rd pary control  ???  Any suggestions would be apprecated.  Thanks Start Free Trial
