VB.Net interfacing with Access Reports

Asked by K-9 in Access Reports, .NET

Tags: vb.net access reports

I have an access database that is currently being used by some clients (police departments).  I created a vb.net application that does facial recognition and fingerprint scanning.  When I get a match I want to be able to give them the opportunity to print out a record check of that individual.  That record check is currently in Access.  What I need to be able to do is run that report in access.  I know how to interact with the access databas and pull up the report however this vb.net program runs from a link within the database.

It opens a second copy of the database, which I don't want to do.  So I either have to find a way to do this without opening a second copy of the database, or some how recreate the record check report from vb.net  Can someone give me some guidiance on how I can do this?
