Problem transferring Access 2000 database built in XP to Vista

Asked by DonGarry in Access Reports, Windows Vista

Tags: Access 2000, Vista SP2

Hello, we have an Access 2000 database  which was built in XP. We also have several Access reports that are using Custom Paper Sizes ...eg. 8.5" Wide X 17" Long. These reports work fine with Windows XP SP3.

One problem we have is when we transfer the Access 2000 database to Vista SP2, all of the reports which are set for 'Use Specific Printer' with Paper Size (8.5WBy17L) all automatically revert back to the standard Paper Size (Letter). This then requires us to open the reports in Design view, Go to Page Setup and reset and save the Page Size back to the Custom settings.

Do anyone know a way around this problem?

Thx,
Don
