To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. I have a normalized database that needs to be displayed in reports. I understand how to do this but the problem is I need to follow a format (certain order). If the data does not exist for a certain item in the form, it will ultimately not display on the report, but I want it to display as zero: BEHAVIOR a - 0
BEHAVIOR b - 1
From the experts, how do you deal with a situation like this? I am fairly new to normalized databases and wonder what is the convention for dealing with reports like this? I would figure running a query that right outer joins a list of the actual data items so it displays 0 or blank for the ones that don't exist. Or should I export this to excel and deal with that? Thank you experts.
