MS Access 2000 mdb often goes corrupt

I converted all my 97 mdb's to 2000. And now ofte users call that they have a message like "user exited ms access without closing, database corrupt, needs repair". Is this a bug in access 2000 ? I never had problems with my databases in access 97. Can I avoid this.
