dim db as database
set db = currentdb.openrecordset
When I created another database, I am unable to dim db as a database. The user-type "database" is not even there to select from.
Why can't I dim db as database in Access 2002???

It never fails. As soon as post a question here, I figure out the problem. The answer is when your in a module, under tools/references, you have to select 'Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library'.
I give myself 200 points.
