Browse All TopicsWe have just come up with a security policy that requires that all databases be in a separate server from the Web Server. We've got a number of ASP pages that access Micrososft Access databases. I want to put these databases on a separate server and access them through an UNC path or mapped drive. However I seem to be having a permissions problem.

unc path should be fine, just make sure to click on the permissions tab of the folder and give everyone, full control for ease. ultimately only iusr_machinename needs the full control.
so, open sharing permissions AND regular permissions.
