Linking to an MS Access query from another MS Access database

I have set up front end/back end databases where the front end holds forms and the backend holds the data. The backend is also accessed by a web application.

I have a series of queries that return data from the backend. The currently are in the Front End. I would like to use them from the Web app also, but do not want to access the front end database from the web app.

Therefore, I need the queries in the backend. But I don't want to maintain two copies of each of the queries.

Do you know of a way to link to a query in one database from another. I would like to be able to keep the query in the backend database and link to it from the front end. It appears that you can only link to files from another access database.

Your help would be appreciated.
