Prevent splitting a group across a column (Report)

Asked by Mourdekai in Microsoft Access Database

My report uses 2 columns.  Each group has 4 to 6 details.  I do not want a group to be split.  (The first half is on the bottom of a column, and the second is at the top of the next)

This is what I am getting:

Group 1               Detail 3
  Detail 1             Detail 4
  Detail 2         Group 3
  Detail 3             Detail 1
  Detail 4             Detail 2
Group 2              Detail 3
  Detail 1            Detail 4
  Detail 2

I want this to happen in this situation:

Group 1          Group 2
  Detail 1             Detail 1
  Detail 2             Detail 2
  Detail 3             Detail 3
  Detail 4             Detail 4
                     Group 3
                         Detail 1
                         Detail 2

How can I accomplish this?
