display values in a txt box when it is holding an ID

the following challange is in MS Access environment.
I have a datasheet where I need to display the corresponding text value for each field. The field hold the ID.  I like to do this w/out using dlookup since it is inefficient and it does not show in a datasheet view.

Is there anyone who can help me display the values I need.
for example: display in  the txtBox the value "Bent1" instead of 1564.
