Run-time error 2501:The OpenReport action was canceled (Microsoft Visual Basic pop-up ) when click on OK button in previous Microsoft Office Access pop-up  window - The OpenReport action was canceled

I am computer technicain supporting building with over 2000 users.One of them created Office 97mdb file and converted to Microsoft Acceess 2003.After convertion, some of the users having problem running reports.When they open mdb file and click on Report button,  they are getting Microsoft Office Access pop-up window : The OpenReport action was canceled.When they click OK then Microsoft Visual Basic window pops-up :Run-time error 2501: The OpenReport action was canceled.
I asked users to cross test the issue.Users who are fine logged in to computers where users having this problem and visa-versa.Problematic users still having this problem.Users without problem still working fine being logged in to problematic user's computers.Mdb file is located on a shared folder on a network.
