Question

Pivot Table - OWC

Asked by: HaryMary

Dears,

When I try using pivot table or owc in a form or on a web page, the control ocw doesn't provide and data. The message I get is:

"The Query could not be processed. The data provider didn't supply any further error information"

I tried using the component on a form on my home pc and it was successful, but on my office pc, it failed. The only difference between the two PCs are the one on home use Office2003 and the one on office uses Office XP.

What is the problem, with office XP, or what ???

Cheers

Make pivot table localr to access and save it as qPivotTable, and then use this query as if it is a table to display your data.

i once had a similar problem with pivottable not working at all, not in a form, table or in a query.
the only thing that worked was to REinstall win2000 (reinstalling only office didn't work....).

i'm sorry i can't give you a better solution... :)

Omer.
