Group on Max Score and then pull date the score was given

I have a table that has the scores from users that take a test. They can take the same test multiple times so there are multiple records for the same user. What I want to do is have a query that will take the Max score and then pull what date that score was given. When I use grouping and select Max on the score, I can't figure out how to get the coresponding date.

Example:

Name Score Date
John Doe 84 3/1/05
John Doe 75 2/15/05
John Doe 95 2/28/05

I want only one record returned in the query that would say John Doe got 95 on 2/28/05.
