The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. Need help with report for related tables ...

I'm an experienced programmer but I'm fairly new to databases...
I have created an Access database and I need help with a report. For simplicity, I'll just talk about two of its tables.

Table: Recipes
RecipeID (primary key)
RecipeName
RecipeDescription
Source
NumberOfServings

Table: RecipeIngredients
RecIngrID (primary key)
RecipeID
RecIngrName
Quantity
QtyUnit

I defined a relationship between the two tables using "RecipeID". So "one" recipe can have "many" ingredients.

I have created an "Ingredients Detail" report that lists ingredients and amounts. When I test it out, it displays every record in the RecipeIngredients table.

I have created a "Recipe" report that has the RecipeName, Source, etc in it.

I then inserted the "Ingredients Detail" report into the "Recipe" report.
Needless to say, when I test the "Recipe" report, I get a separate "Ingredients" section for every recipe in the database. That is to say, the recipe name, etc are for the first record in the Recipes table, then underneath that are two "Ingredients" sections, one for each of the two recipes in my database.

My question is: what query do I need to put in the Record Source for the "Ingredients" "sub-" report so that I get one page for each of the two recipes, with only the relevant ingredients listed with it?

I've looked at all my tables in Datasheet view, and the correct data is in all of them (that is to say, primary keys relate = foreign keys etc) so I know the data is ok.
