The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Kyocera Mita FS-1800 Report Printing Hang-Up

Asked by cmmonline in Microsoft Access Database

I'm having an issue with printing reports to a Kyocera Mita FS-1800 Printer when I use a program called ERP Lite which has an MS Access Interface. I thought maybe the printer was running low on memory, so I upgraded it to its maximum allowed memory. The problem is still there. We suse the ERPLite to release finished goods to our manufacturing department. So after the job is engineered it gets about 5 reports that get printed out they are as follows a Consolidated Cutlist, Weld List, Buyouts, Paint Pull List, and a Build List for Assembly. These reports range anywheres from 1-2 pages each at a time to 35-70 pages each depending on the different number of finished goods on the order. When the job is enginnered we have a one button print option to "Print all Reports for Job Release". or we can print each one indivually which is just a popup print preview of all reports at the same time each in its own window. The funny thing is the printer does not hang up on anyones computer but mine. So I have to believe it is a spool setting on my machine. I just do not know if the ERPLite is where the adjustment needs to be or if it needs a different print driver...I have the ltest and greatest...thinking that this would solve the problem.....but it did not. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
