Found a tool that converts a database to asp - access2asp. Too darn expensive....

publish Access forms online
Hi,
I would like users to fill data into an MS Access database online. This could be possible if I could publish forms online. I could create a relevant form, and then users can access it online, fill it online, and "submit" so the data is updated on my database.
I know this can be achieved by asp/perl-ODBC etc but
- it is cumbersome
- I may need to enter data into more than one tables, and would thus need to design an entire page from scratch. THis is nearly impossible since I may need to create tables/forms on the fly as per new requests.

Short answer - it can be done.
Long answer - it's not really advisable....
Access can be used as a database for a webpage providing that its hosted on a Windows server.
You can't use php to pull the data. :-(
Also, get more than 2 users in and it will grind to a halt.
Finally, as the nail in the cofin, Access forms cannot be transferred to the web.
There's apparently a tool that converts forms to ASP - but I'm yet to find or play with it.
Data Access Pages suck - they're Access's version of web pages.
