Dsum problem Urgent 500 points

This is done on an after update event on a form on a record that has CTRID


The form is based on tblCTR Id = CTRID

I am trying to sum the Hors in tblDocregister with the Same CTRID from the form i am updating

I have the code below but dnst seem to be working

totalHours = DSum("[DocmentHours]", "tblDocRegister", "[CtrId] = [CtrID]")
