Access error message: missing or broke reference to the file 'dao2535.TLB' Version 3.5

Asked by Olga_Bianchi in Microsoft Access Database, Windows XP Operating System

Some of our users have been working with Office 200 and were recently upgraded to Office 2003 via a Tivoli push.

One person tried to open an Access database that is regularly used and received this message: Your Microsoft Office Access Database or project contains a missing or broke reference to the file 'dao2535.TLB' Version 3.5.  To ensure that your database or project works properly, you must fix this reference."  He clicked OK and it seemed to open fine.

He hasn't received any more messages like this but wants to be sure there isn't a problem with his database.  Could it be related to the upgrade or is there something else we should be checking?Start Free Trial
