Browse All TopicsI am trying to switch my ADP between 2 different SQL Servers. When I execute openconnection, i don't get an error, but the database says disconnected. If I try to retieve a recordset i get the following error:
Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)':
Method 'Connection' of object '_CurrentProject' failed
It seems like ms access cant sync up with the new connection. Any ideas?
Here is the code i am using:
Dim strConn3 As String
strConn = "Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;" & _
"Data Source=main-orl;" & _
"Initial Catalog=DataORL;" & _
"Integrated Security=SSPI;" & _
"PERSIST SECURITY INFO=FALSE;" & _
"Use Procedure for Prepare=1;" & _
"Auto Translate=True;"
CurrentProject.CloseConnec
CurrentProject.OpenConnect
Dim rst As New ADODB.Recordset
Set rst = New ADODB.Recordset
'up to here there is no error, but the following does
rst.Open "select top 1 * from agent", CurrentProject.Connection
Any Ideas?
