The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Age calculation in form using DLookup

I am using microsoft access 2000 and I have a form that has the name and date of birth being generated automatically once the unique indentifying number is added in the field of the form. I used the DLookUp function to get the name and date of birth from another master table. eg =DLookUp("[birthdate]","masterpatientindex","[medicalrecnumber] =" & [Forms]![Outpatient visit Form]![medicalrecnumber]) and =DLookUp("[firstname]","masterpatientindex","[medicalrecnumber] =" & Forms![Outpatient visit Form]!medicalrecnumber). I can generate the age automatically in the form for the table of the masterpatientindex by using =DateDiff("yyyy",[BirthDate],Date()). However I want to generate the age automatically again on the outpatient vist form using DLookUp function like I did with the name and birthdate. But it seems as if the DLookUp cannot display a value from which a calculation has to be made.
