Moving a table from frontend to backend

Asked by JudithRyan in Microsoft Access Database

I am running an Access app (frontend & backend).  In the course of making some enhancements to the frontend I decided one of the frontend's ref tables needed to be on the backend.  I opened the backend directly and imported the ref table from a copy of the frontend.

I opened the frontend and deleted that copy of the ref table.  I exited the frontend and then reentered it.  The ref table on the backend hadn't been linked to the frontend.  So I went to the Linked Table Manager and set it to refresh all links.  The ref table still hasn't been picked up.  What am I missing?Start Free Trial
