Compare Two Databases Within Access

I want to compare the data in similar tables in different databases, but within Access. I don't have a .NET development system here, only MS Access. I could easily compare two tables within the same database, but how do I compare between two different databases?

from db1 create a link to the table in db2

File>get external data> link tables

once you got the linked tables, you can now compare the tables using query

If there is not an easy way, I'll probably do the following (but it will be tedious). Supposing I have databases A and B. Each has tables X, Y, and Z. I would make a third database C that I would copy the tables in from their databases and name them something like A_X, A_Y, A_Z, B_X, B_Y, B_Z. This is not the desired result, but it would work.

Essentially that pulls in the link and if they have the same name (e.g., "X"), it adds a "1". So would have "X" and "X1" in this case. That will work.
