Please recommend a database or other software:
1.) I would like a powerful database but needs to be very easy.
2.) Prefer intuitive like a spreadsheet except that it holds a lot more data in the fields and, of course, can make reports and accept data from forms.
3.) Also, needs to be durable over time so that new software versions do not require major overhaul please.
It will hold fields for a few introductory words of text, photo field(s,) and large fields for searchable files like .doc (and also if easy to do pdf, html, txt, rtf, and jpg).
Also have some xls and a old quattro pro spreadsheet files that I would like to easily convert to simple DB.
I have MS Office with Access 2003 & XP Pro. I am finding Access difficult so far.
