The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Hi, i need some advice. I will try my best to make the problem less confusing this time. :)
Here is what i want to do. It is almost like the sample DB NorthWind - Order Form.

I want a dropdown list in the form contains unique IDs from Table A. Table A is linked to Table B and hs one to many relationship. Table A is the one table and Table B is the many table. When user selects a value in the dropdown list, it should bring back the values from both Table A and Table B in text box format.

Table structure:

Table A: (one table)
ID_TA  (key)
f1_TA
f2_TA

Table B: (many table)
ID_TB (key)
ID_TA
f1_TB
f2_TB

Form structure:

a dropdown list -- ID_TA values from Table B
Text box 1 -- f1_TA
Text box 2 -- f1_TB

Desired Result:

Select the dropdown value (ID_TA), Text box 1 and Text box 2 should show the associated values based on the selected ID_TA.

Problem:

Text box 1's value f1_TA changes accordingly but Text box 2's value f1_TB from the many table doesn't change at all when the dropdown value selection changes.

Sorry for the long message. Just try to explain clearly.  Thanks a lot.
