Database records locking on occasion

Hello,

I was wondering if there is any sort of solution to a problem I'm experiencing. I have an Access db with about 25 users in at all times and occasionally a record will lock (it will open and you can view it alright, it just wont allow you to type in any of the fields). Sometimes this problem goes away on it's own, sometimes it lasts for days.....  Is there any way around this? I'm aware of the many problems with Access in a multi-user environment, but this is the only DB it is happening to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
