The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. DBase Security Question

I have built a database w/ a switchboard that opens a number of forms and reports.  After posting this database on our company's network, Id like to add a few security features.  

First, I'd like to have a basic username/password that any user must enter in order to open the database.  I only need one username and password - meaning I'm planning to provide the same username/password combo to 7 or 8 people.   I'd like for these 7 or 8 people to have the ability to edit and add new records via the provided forms on the switchboard.

Secondly, I do not want these users accessing any information beyond the forms/reports shown on the switchboard.  I'd like to keep all the tables, queries, etc. out of sight and out of mind.

I've played around with the security wizard and I've set-up an Admin and Users - but when I login as a user I can still open the database main window that shows all the tables and queries.  Any ideas?
