Record Lock on Linked SQL Server 2005 table in Access 2003

Asked by chriswies in Microsoft Access Database

My db has about 50 tables linked via ODBC into the db.
Forms are populated via SQL-Selects in the datasource property.
This works all fine until today where one Subform pops a message the an edited record can't be saved due to another (non existing!) user editing this record. I have the option to copy the record or cancel my entry. Hmm. I found some articles here but I don't find something suitable because I don't use DAO to manipulate the records. Just entering into form fields.
Any idea?
