DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet Problem

I found someone who had the same problem as me (see above link). However, the solution was to allow zero length strings for all text fields. I do not want to do this. Is there any other way to get around this problem?

The only other possible solution I can see is to run a script that sets the allow property on all of the fields in the table then run another script immediately following the import to disallow this property. But this seems like more work than its worth.

I am running MS Access 2003, using MS Access 2000 file format. Not sure if the Access 2000 format would make any difference here.Start Free Trial
