Setting Up Stock Tables

Hi,

I need help in putting together a basic stock management system (perhaps that's a little contradictory), which will allow me to manage stock replenishment and show sell thru rates etc. It will need to take the sales file downloaded from eBay(UK) and assign a ProdCode (this is necessary as eBay doesn't produce ProdCode's).

The ProdCode will need to be pulled from a table which (in somewaty) needs to link together using the 'Item Title.' So for example a Crystal Case for a Nokia N95 might have the following ProdCode 'CCaseNokN95' and have the Item Title 'Nokia N95 Crystal Case UK', this would need to be introduced into the Sales download so the stock could be depleted. As a side point would it be possible to link multiple item titles to one prodcode, as we list the same products differently to pick up on the search words used by customers etc.

I'm just struggling a little to get off the ground and whats the best place to begin. Any help would be appreciated!Start Free Trial
