How can I import a large MS SQL database into Access via ODBC?

Asked by hyphenpipe in Microsoft Access Database, MS SQL Server, SQL Server 2005

I am trying to import a fairly large database into Access 2003 via ODBC.  This database contains over 300,000 records and as such Access keeps crapping out returning the error:

Invalid Argument

I am going to assume that this is due to the fact that the database I am trying to import is rather large, because even trying to import it into an Excel spreadsheet returns a 'free up system resources' error.

Is there a way I can split this import up?  I don't mind having seperate access databases if need be, I am just unsure as to how to proceed.
