Elookup Vs Dlookup

Hi, I have been trying to find the best way to return a value from a field within a table, and the general opinion is that Dlookup/DCount etc is fine.  However, I asked a similar question about a year ago, and was provided with a link to the following site:

I have been using the function and it works fine, but I could just do with clarification, that it is better/quicker or at least more efficient than the dfunctions.Start Free Trial
