Asked by TimothyE in Microsoft Access Database
Beginning today, any of the users who are not members of the administrators group on our MS Windows 2008 Standard Server received the following error when they try to import text files into an Access 2003 Database: "Microsoft Access can't find the wizard. This wizard has not been installed, or there is an incorrect setting in the Windows Registry, or this wizard has been disabled."
Adding the user to the administrators group solves the problem.
We've been using MS Access 2003 for over 6 months, and we just started having this problem today.
Uninstalling and re-insstalling MS Access from the Server may "solve" the problem, but isn't a solution I am looking for - Since nothing has changed that I know of - why is this happening?
