Frequent "Updating tables" message in front end using Access 2007
We have an Access front end running off a network share with about 20 users. Until recently, all users have been using Access 2003 and there have been no major problems. A few users now have new machines with Access 2007. These users frequently (upwards of every 5 seconds at times) get a message in the status bar "Updating tables. Press and hold ESC to stop...". Sometimes this message flickers so fast that it can barely be seen, and other times it will remain for 10 seconds and completely lock up Access. The machines with 2003 still work completely fine. The only difference I can see is the version of Access. I looked around online yesterday for info on this issue and came up dry. Anyone else come across this? How can I go about resolving?
