Access 2007 PDF add-in

Hi Experts

I'm trying to use the new report to PDF function in access 2007 but I have a problem.
Se the code i'm using.
But the result of a line chart is not good. See the picture bad. When I use Adobe to create the pdf file the line chart is great, see the picture good.

What is wrong with the new add-in or my code?

DoCmd.OpenReport varReportName, acViewPreview, varSQL, varFilter, acHidden, varOpenArg 'Run the report

DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputReport, varReportName, acFormatPDF, varFilePath & "\" & varPDFFileName

DoCmd.Close acReport, varReportName, acSaveNo

Hi,

Is there a difference in quality between printing each pdf file. I have seen occasoins where my reports sent to pdf with an access function dont look that great in pdf, but look fine when printed. Is this happening to you ?

Hi Kev
Thanks for the input, but i'm not allow to install any thing on my work computer and the system i'm working on are used by more than 500 people. So i need a solution from here or microsoft, else we will keep Adobe Pro.
Hi,

The lebans solution does not technically require anything to be installed. The two .dll'd need only be saved in the same folder as your DB. I work for the Aust Army and have the same issues re installing software on our PC's and I have used lebans solution without an issue. The dll's will only be used for the DB and have noting to do with the OS or SOE. Good luck.

Kev
Hi Kev

I know and i'm sure it works but i'm not even allowed to download dll's on my computer.

But I will mention the solution to the IT-department and see if they will allow me to test your solution and "install" the files on all other computers in the company.

Hi Kev

I have accepted that the new PDF function in Access 2007 can handle graphs properly so i will still use Adobe pro until microsoft have fixed the problem. I'm sorry but i have no other options, can install another program or files, because the solution are used by 1000 people and they will not allow me to use other files or software than the once installed.

But if no one have any problem with me given you (Kev) the point for good feedback? Because the Leban PDF thing worked fine, i will do that.

Best Regards
Kim
Not what i wanted, but the solution that was given was god and correct, but not what i needed.
