Is it possible to have access load a delimited file that does not have a standard extension?

I have some delimited files tah I can import into excel but no into access since the extension is not xle txt etc.  Is this possible?

Hi,

Sure.  Just rename the files to .txt and follow the import Wizard.

We do not want to have to rename the files since there are a significant number of them.  Can A scrpt be written by extension?  In this case TY3

I use this in excel.  I am hoping for a wildcard search if possible.

Do all the files have the same structure?  If so you can automate the process.

They are all parsed in the same place.  Yes.  400+ files that I do not want to have to rename
