With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Feedback of the Community

VBA ADO recycling ID number

I need to search through the table to find the first available ID number this is a requirement and cannot be changed. I need CODE to do it and not use the auto-number.

Requirements:
The user cannot change the ID number once it is populated.
Must fill gaps so if there is an ID number 1 and 3 the next record gets the ID number 2
