With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

The Number of Experts Contributing
The Feedback of the Community

IF (cell < myVariant) NOT THE SAME AS IF (cell < myString)

I always thought a variant variable would react exactly the same as a string variable as long as they both contained the same string. It turns out I was wrong, at least when a zero length string is involved.

It appears they are the same only 99.9% of the time. Has anybody ever seen documentation enumerating the .1% of the time when they are different?
