Characters/Symbols added when using different PC /Locale
Can we be totally clear- are you saying that the client has always seen the extra characters and you can't see them or are you saying he has started to see them since you modified the app (and you can't see them).

Since I modified
OK - so are these extra characters appearing in something you've changed/developed or are they appearing in something that you have not changed?
Can you post a picture of the properties of one of the problem buttons (or a sample of the form)

That looks like a bad interpretation of a non-printing character such as a tab, linefeed or carriage return. The best thing to try is just re-typing it.
If that doesn't work, have your user in the UK open the form in design mode, copy and paste the text into Word and then turn on the show hidden characters. (The paragraph mark on the toolbar.)

It's not a matter of typing.. anything I edit adds these extra characters which only appear on my clients PC.
Have you tried a Compact/Repair and or a VBA Compile when he gets it?
ASKER
The only thing I haven't tried, is decompiling on his PC, but I'm really looking to find the reason that this is happening.
Beyond the locale settings, is the end user or you on the same version of Windows including patches? What about the Office suite?
ASKER
I haven't checked which version of Windows he's on, but he's on the same version of Office, and others in his Office don't have the problem.
If he logs on to another user's machine does it occur? Then there might be some setting in his profile. If it doesn't then it is an issue with his PC.
