How to Update Child Window Hidden Fields With Parent window Fields When updating in Database?

Hi
I have a Parent Window Which opens another window using Parent.main.location.href = page

Parent Window has a Textarea Box called Remarks ..When I update the data in DB from the Child Window , i need the Details Entered in the Parent Window's Remarks Fields to update it in DB.
