Browse All TopicsI have been working on a test deployment of Microsoft Search Server Express. Everything has gone fine until I started the first "crawl". It errors out with the following error:
"The item could not be crawled because the Microsoft Single Sign-on service failed to connect to the backend database server."
I have tried changing around the accounts, and even using my account, which has domain admin rights. Has anyone worked with this product. It uses MSDE 2005 as the database server.

Called Microsoft and found that since I was indexing a NAS, I need to enter each share name, not just the root path.
