How interchangeable are WPF desktop & WPF Silverlight?

How interchangeable are the UI parts between a WPF desktop app (full .NET) and Silverlight?   Meaning, if I want to design one UI that can be layered onto both, what sort of limitations/issues do I need to keep in mind?
