I'm so confused. All I want to do is write a little shell extension that can supersede the shell's wonky folder copier function. So when you drag a folder and dropit say on the desktop, MY code gets run instead of the slow and buggy shell folder copier.
But most of the shell extension examples I see are for things like right-click for properties or drop onto app windows (NOT what I want), and even those are horribly complicated.
Anybody have a SIMPLE example of shell drag-drop ? Not to an app window.
C or C++ or Delphi okay. VB if you must.
