uploading ASP.NET website to hosting company?

I developed my site using Visual Web Developer Express.  I am try to host with Godaddy but I can't figure out how  to upload it.  Does anyone know how or another company that I can host with and just FTP my files?

Hi paulmmalone,
I'm very satisfied with FileZilla, it's free and so simple for usage. You can download it on http://filezilla-project.org/

When you install it, go on File --> Site Manager --> New Site and fill Site details fields.
You can then use FileZilla, you have Local site and Remote site, drag and drop files you want to transfer.

ok I got a hosting account with crystal Tech.
Still not sure though.
I see a folder called "databases".
I was hoping for a folder called "app_data" like in visual web developer express edition.

I then usually use the deploy feature of VS to upload the files.
You just have to set the permissions and your done, it will create the same structure you have on your HD.

You can also use any FTP client, a free one would be FileZilla.

Did you have to modify your Web.Config file?
Did you just copy over your entire app_net folder?
