If I am reading from a text file, a sample of which is below, how do I define a variable, say the date for example in a loop? The issue I am having is the very first line, which is text, is getting in the way and throwing off the order so by the time I get to the next entry of data, which is separated by a break, the variable I define is no longer the date. How would I ignore the very fist line and only analyze the data sets that begin with date, assuming they continue in the same pattern?
