I have dug as far as I can and have found nothing else but to adjust the hibernation mode. Can someone try this one and let me know how to fix this?

Could you give us a little more information? When you hit the restart button on the computer? or when you click restart from the shutdown menu? Does anything happen at all when you press the button, or does it start to shutdown and stop at a certain point?
Thanks,
Eric
