The synaptics touchpad detected as standard pointing device in sub menu

The Driver is installed in device manager as is installed and worked as far as clicking tapping and movements.  The problem i have is there is no option to setup the scrolling which is very annoying as i use it all of the time, as well as the tapping feature enable/disable functions.  The problem i am sure is that it shows up as standard pointing device on the second section, i am not sure what files i need to modify or replace to get that to use the driver i have, i have forced the toucphad device on the main driver and it didn't help as well as use the normal touchpad driver for the mouse itself. I would prefer not to reload but i will if I have to. I also checked the bios.Start Free Trial
